New England Conservatory of Music educators are in Venezuela giving seminars on master classes and chamber music to the members of the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela, as part of an academic exchange.

The Symphony Youth Orchestra of Caracas paid tribute to Gustavo Dudamel during its last concert of the season on August 13 at the Center for Social Action through Music.

Last Wednesday, August 11, the renowned conductor and pianist Daniel Barenboim paid a visit to the National Children’s Orchestra of Venezuela at the Montalbán Children’s Academic Center, and gave a master class to the members of the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela.
